i was wondering if it’s possible to to have a link to an event that would automatically add 1 ticket to cart and move on to registration form

Hi Phil,

If you are using the Multiple Event Registration add-on, then items are queued to a cart so you can checkout at once. You can set a specific event to skip the cart altogether.

I have it activated, i found a short code [ESPRESSO_CART_LINK event_id=”1″ anchor=”Register for This Event”]

is there a different way to setup the event initially to get this short code to work ?

I understand that this is an old shortcode for version 3? is there an alternative for version 4?

Hi Phil,

That shortcode is not available for Event Espresso 4.

These shortcodes are available:

Hi Phil,

There isn’t a way to currently skip the cart. If that is critical to you project, then please check with an Event Espresso professional here:

https://eventespresso.com/developers/event-espresso-pros/

There is a ticket selector template that is use site wide and a different one for the embed option which is used offsite.

Making a change to the ticket selector applies site wide.

What messaging are you trying to change? Is a screenshot available so we can share feedback?

Here is how you can share a screenshot with us:

Hi Lorenzo,

So the https://goo.gl/pTJo7B this was generated by using this shortcode:[ESPRESSO_TICKET_SELECTOR event_id=66]

Where in the templates would I need to make changes in order to change the text that’s before the button, as well as the text that’s inside the button.

Also is there a way to at least have an html link to the event cart ?

Hi Phil,

Could you share some screenshots (https://eventespresso.com/wiki/troubleshooting-checklist/#screenshots) of what you are referring to with this?

Where in the templates would I need to make changes in order to change the text that’s before the button, as well as the text that’s inside the button.

You can change the button text but keep in mind that this will apply across all events.
