Simple customizations to Custom Templates Event List?

Hi all — As part of our package, we purchased the Custom Templates Add-on, and I’m just trying out the Event Custom View for the first time. It’s definitely what we’re looking for, as far as a table-style view for a comprehensive events listing that displays events from all categories. I’ve got a few seemingly basic questions on customizing — I’ve been through the Custom Templates documentation, and I’ve searched the forums, but didn’t find similar questions or answers/solutions.

Note: I am already using the standard Event List shortcode on other pages listing specific categories; I’m happy to mess around with the Custom View, but I don’t want to do anything that will also change the normal Event Lists, as those are now exactly how we’d like them.

In the Event Custom View, can I…
1) hide a column (we are the only venue)?
2) rearrange column order (e.g. dates first)?
3) add a column (e.g. to display events’ category inline)?
4) include event listings that do not have a Register / Add to Cart link? Or hide Register / Add to Card links selectively? For this calendar page to be comprehensive, I’d also want to include drop-in free public types of events — exhibition openings, lectures… For those, there’s no need to register, so I don’t even want to imply that by having a Register button even if the resulting “registration” is free.

#1 and #4 are musts; #2 and #3 are cosmetic but would be great. #1 I’d have guessed would be so easy we could just add a selector of some type to the Event Custom View shortcode, or worst case a (display: none) in our CSS? But I can’t find that documented anywhere and, again, don’t want to screw up anything we’ve already wrestled into submission.

Any insights you can share will be much appreciated! Thanks!

Ah, I might have just spotted a solution to #4 above. Adding a meta tag to do that seems straightforward enough!

Hello,

What column are you trying to hide?

The Venue column. We are the only venue.

Hello,

Is a link available for this page so I can get the element id or class?
