Is there a way I can show more information other than what the shortcode [ESPRESSO_EVENTS] shows?
I’d like people to see the address under Venue Information and the price and start time (etc).
Also, when you register – does it send a conformation email with your username and password?

What kind of information are you looking to add and to what pages (e.g. event listing page or single event pages)?
You’ll be able to make these changes by customizing the template files:

Have you already moved a copy of the files to the following location?
/wp-content/uploads/espresso/templates

By default no it does not. EE doesn’t create WordPress users from registrants. However, we do have a custom function that can achieve this: https://gist.github.com/Apina/9596012
If you’re not comfortable with PHP you may need a developers assistance to implement this.

This can no doubt be done but will probably require a template edit. Where exactly do you want this information to show? (e.g. event listing page or single event pages)
