Hi, I have a page where I entered the short code for the category, however, the times are not showing for the events (Details is listed but nothing there).

ALSO, when you add to event cart and then return to event listings, it returns to all events, not just that category, which is confusing for the user.

Any way to correct either of these?

Hi There,

the times are not showing for the events (Details is listed but nothing there)

You need to go to EE > Templates > Event List Pages > Display Datetimes > Set it to “Yes” and save the changes to show the datetime in the category page.

when you add to event cart and then return to event listings, it returns to all events, not just that category

By default, there are two ways to close the popup.
One is to click the “Return to event list page” button which redirects to the event page as per its name.
Second is the close button which helps you to be on the category page itself.

Hope that helps.

Thank you – the close button is not at all obvious to users who will hit return and be sent to a different listing. I would highly suggest adding another button to differentiate between returning to category and going to full list (which is not really a “return” since they did not start there). We can try to tell people but along with all the other notes we have to tell them about registration this will surely be a point of confusion. Any other ideas to make it less confusing for the users? Easy to code the return button to actually “return” to category (ie “close”) .. I do have a priority support ticket if that helps.

Hi,

Thank you for your suggestion. I’ve added a feature request to our development team.

They will review the request and take action accordingly.

Hello,

One of our tEEm Member mention that there’s snippet for this. You might want to check this. https://gist.github.com/Pebblo/14acf044ca0a4aef2cc417be742f7400

You can put that code on your child theme or create a plugin.

thanks
