Should I turn off Paypal Pro if Using Mijireh?

Hi,
I’ve just signed up with Mijireh and are using Paypal Pro to take payments. I assume that once Mijireh checkout is live I should switch off my Paypal Pro gateway as Mijireh will then be handling all transactions through them. Is this correct? I’m hoping that once the system is live, customers who have entered their address details will not have to repeat the process on the secure Mijireh checkout page.
Thank You,
David

Hi David,

It depends if you prefer to offer multiple payment types.

Some users would keep both Mijireh and PayPal Pro active to have an ‘on-site’ payment method (PayPal) and an ‘Off-site’ payment method (Mijireh)

If you are using the System Address Questions and relevant group you should not need to enter the address info again with Mijireh.

Hi Tony,
Thanks for your reply. I’ve been testing my Mijireh set up and found a problem that I think may have been addressed before. “I collect address fields for my registrants but they are not transferred to the checkout page so the customer needs to enter them again. The sample checkout page shows a check-box that says “Billing Same As Shipping” but the live checkout page does not have the check-box. Can this be accomplished through EE?”
I have taken the liberty of copying a previous posters’ problem as it is exactly the same as mine!

Can you post the link to that thread here please?

Which version number of Event Espresso 4 are you using?

Do you have all of the system address questions active within the

You can check this by going to Event Espresso -> Registration Form -> Question Groups (tab).

Click to edit the ‘Address Information’ group, you should see something like this – http://take.ms/MqDcf

And are you requesting that group for primary attendees?

Hi Tony,
Thanks again for a prompt reply.I have found that the fact I wasn’t requiring country and county(state/province equivalent here in UK) addresses was the cause of the problem- when I added them the checkout page no longer requires re-entry of data-thank you.
Just for completeness I am using EE 4.4.10.p and the link to a previou query is
https://eventespresso.com/topic/mijireh-shipping-fields/

Thanks once again,
David
