Should Display ticket selector be checked if using alternative registration page

If linking to an alternative registration page should Display ticket Selector be set to “yes”?

Also, is if using an alternative registration page link, is it better to paste it into the box at the left or to add the word “register” to the page content and linking the page.

Just trying to understand best practice when linking to an alternative registration page.

If you are using an Alternative registration page, you likely want to leave the ticket selector enabled.

Then anywhere the ticket selector is normally displayed for an event will link back to your alt registration page.

Also, is if using an alternative registration page link, is it better to paste it into the box at the left or to add the word “register” to the page content and linking the page.

You could do this, but, you then basically not using the alt registration page function and just adding the link in the event content, so I recommend adding the URL in the alternative registration page section and leaving the ticket selector enabled.
