Hi,
I was running a test to see how the shopping cart applied multiple person discounts when participants were redirected to the shopping cart from the event description. I used the following shortcode from your website: [ESPRESSO_CART_LINK event_id=”add_event_id_here” direct_to_cart=1 moving_to_cart=”Redirecting to cart…”]
Our workshops are $139 with a 10% discount when multiple people register. When I tested the ticket prices were correct but the total in the cart came up as follows: $2000417.00
Multiple Participant Discount: You Saved $200041.70
Total C$1800375.30
I tried this a few times and all but twice the totals were incorrect by a significant margin. I did refresh the total but again still incorrect.

Hi,
Sorry about that, it is a known security fix that has caused us some issues. Please update Event Espresso to the latest version and update any add on plugin you have in use, and that should resolve the issue for you.

HI,
I have just updated to the latest version of EE and the opposite is happening. Now the total shows as $0.00 which is worse as I am concerned it will allow particpants to register without paying.

Hi Minna,
Can you post a link to the page where this is happening? I did check on the site that’s linked to your support license and there are a few items that do need to be addressed:
1) Event Espresso 3.1.35.P has been updated to 3.1.35.1
2) On this page:

It appears that the [EVENT_LIST] shortcode is wrapped in pre tags. This is something you can fix by going in to edit that page and switching the editor to “Text” mode and removing the pre tags that appear before and after the [EVENT_LIST] shortcode. There may be other instances on your site where the pre tags should be removed and may event be connected to the incorrect total issue you are seeing.
