When I click on “View Cart” I get the following message Total $ 1000000.00
null $0.00Total $1000000.00
Refresh Total” It doesn’t show the correct amount. Also, can a user select more than one ticket for the same event? thanks

Hi there,

Are you using the [ESPRESSO_CART_LINK] shortcode to display an “add to cart” link? If so it needs an event_id in the shortcode so that it can link the correct event info.

Otherwise there’s a session variable that has been corrupted. If you can post a link to the page where this is happening we can look into it further.

They can select more than one ticket for the same event if you set “Allow Group registrations” to Yes and set the max group registrations to more than one in the event editor.

Hi,

My site is currently set to maintenance mode. Would it be possible to send you a temporary username and password, along with a link to the page, by email?

You can send them via this form:

Hi there,

The issue you were seeing was from the Volumes Discounts add-on being active but there were no volume discounts set up. I’ve deactivated it for now. If you want to offer Volume Discounts you can activate the Volume discounts add-on and follow this guide to set up volume discounts:

https://eventespresso.com/wiki/volume-discounts/

You may need to clear your sessions by going to yoursite/registration-cancelled in order to re-test the shopping cart.

Thank you for you help with the shopping cart issue. It is now working properly but when I click on “Confirm and go to payment page” I get the following message “HTTP Error 500”. Do you know what could be causing this?

This is an internal server error. It may be that your server is running low on memory. Please see this section in the documentation for tips on how to troubleshoot:

After troubleshooting I’m still not able to clear the error. One thing I did notice is that after I receive the server error, after refreshing the page by clicking “reload page” in the error box, the information comes up. One other thing that I forgot to include in the above information is that the following also comes up in the server error box in addition to HTTP Error 500: “http://gospeltickets.com/events/?page_id=38&regevent_action=post_multi_attendee.” Could this be an issue in EE? I just want to make sure I am looking in the right direction when trying to find the issue.

The #8221 on the end of the URL isn’t something that Event Espresso adds. You might try deactivating some plugins to see what’s adding it.

You can also try increasing the amount of memory available since this is an intermittent issue. If your limit is already as high as it can go, you might consider deactivating any plugins you are not using in order to free up some memory.
