Shopping cart not showing up (2)

Hi I posted this yesterday, but for some reason my topic is gone. So I have everything configured correctly I think with the add to cart shortcode in the event pages. When someone clicks and tries to register it does not go to the shopping cart, just to a list of pages. I am at a loss. Is there a setting I am missing. I have EE on another site and it goes straight to the shopping cart. Can you help please?
