Shopping Cart Needed for Event Registration

I am using wordpress 3.8.1 and event espresso 3.1.36.4.P. I have an event set up with registration and am using Quick Books Merchant services. I was told I need a “shopping cart” so that Quick Books can have the payments linked to them- not linked yet. Can I use the add-on “Multiple Event Registration” to satisfy this need? If so, will all of the information I gather on the registration form be captured?

Hi there Ronnie,

Could you provide more information on how we can help? The latest version of Event Espresso already comes with a payment gateway for Intuit Merchant Service (Quickbooks).

Is it not processing any payments for your events?

When I register for the event it goes through the entire process, including taking my credit card information but then doesn’t link to the Quick Books processing site. I had a connection ticket put in yesterday but according to Intuit I need a “cart” to connect with them? I don’t know much about this so I really need help! My site is http://www.jteenleadership.org/jteen-events/event-registration. When you go through the process the registrant thinks their money is being taken, but it’s not.

Hello,

I went through the registration process using the name Test Test up till the payments page:

Could you provide more information on what happens — for example, does it just refresh the page the after submitting the registration form?

Also what browser are you testing with?

When I click on the payments page and input my card I get linked back to the home page. The transaction does not go through to Quick Books. If I hit “Add to Cart” I don’t even get to a payments page. Not sure how to make the connection to Quick Books. I was told I needed a “Shopping Cart” but this isn’t working unless I am not doing something else with the plug in that I need to do.

Hi Ronnie, have you setup your quickbooks connection ticket:

This is in on the payment settings page for Event Espresso (about halfway down the page).

Hi Ronnie,

I had asked about this in the email reply I sent after you bought a support token, but maybe you didn’t get the email. If not, can you go to your account page and click the link for redeeming a support token? This will take you to a form that you can fill out that will give us the information that we need in order to look into this further.

Hi Ronnie,

I’m logged in right now, and I can see that an SSL certificate is not installed for this website. I believe this is a requirement in order to use the Quickbooks payment gateway. This is something that your web host may be able to add to your hosting account.

Along with that, it looks like you forgot to include FTP credentials on the redeem a support token form. If you do not have FTP credentials please contact your web hosting provider and they can send you some. FTP credentials will allow support staff to look at the log files and troubleshoot any other issues with this set up.
