Hi There, I don’t seem to be able to set up multiple ticket selection via the shopping cart. Any thoughts?

Looking through the site it looks like you are using only the Calendar to display all the events with no event list pages, is that correct?

Reason I ask is if you go to the default Event Espresso events page, which for you site is http://davenportsmagickingdom.co.uk/new/event-registration-3/

You’ll find the event list with ‘Add to Cart’ which works fine.

If using only the Calendar to display you events you would need to add the [ESPRESSO_CART_LINK] shortcode to your event descriptions.

Within your events add:

[ESPRESSO_CART_LINK direct_to_cart=1 moving_to_cart=”Redirecting to cart…”]

This will include an ‘Add to Cart’ link within the description. You may also want to remove the registration form from the events.

You do this in the Event. On the event sidebar you’ll find ‘Display registration form?’ set this to No.

If working on Recurring events be sure to set this option http://d.pr/i/YPy
To apply your changes to all events in that series.

Right, got that so far! What I need is for it to show a @buy tickets for this event button ( I assume I can add my own graphic for this??) then they got to a page to select the type and amount of each ticket then onto the payment page?

Thanks for the swift support btw.

No problem.

You can add you own graphics, you can either style the button using CSS or add in an actual image to use as a button.

There’s a short guide HERE on using an image

Basically to change the text you use – anchor=”My custom text” within the shortcode so in the example above use

[ESPRESSO_CART_LINK direct_to_cart=1 anchor=”My Cart Button Text” moving_to_cart=”Redirecting to cart…”]

If you want to use an image just set anchor to the Image URL. (with a little swapping of single/double quotes)
