Hi, Since upgrading from 3.x to 4.2.9, all of our payment notification emails and payment listings on the paypal site show “Shopping Cart Contents” where the Event Name used to be. We really need to see the event name on each payment record/paypal email.
What happened? Can we fix this? Thanks!

Hi,
Event Espresso does record the order using the shopping cart feature from PayPal.
However, this order should also include the event name in the shopping cart contents area.
Are you seeing this additional information when you click on the order in PayPal?

Hi Lorenzo,
No. You can see a screenshot of a paypal transaction detail from the paypal website. This was a registration for a course. The event name is the name of the course, and it doesn’t appear anywhere in the transaction record.

What is the status of this issue? We really need to see what tickets people have purchased in our Paypal records.

Hi there,
A little follow up on this: The Shopping cart contents are now replaced with event ticket names in Event Espresso 4.4 which was released today.
