Hi,

I am using EE4 where I have set up two events beach event has time slots(which i have set up date-times and tickets for) only 1 ticket per time slot should be avaialble.

The problem is that if you select a ticket and click proceed to payment options it marks the ticket as sold out before filing out attendee details on the registration form.

This problem means that times are being made to look sold out when they are not.

The event is free and therefor needs to payment or approval.

How can we fix this problem.

Thanks,

Hi Jane,

Can you provide some details of how the datetimes & tickets are setup? (Possibly a screenshot if easier)

The reason I ask is I have setup an event within multiple datetimes. A single ticket allocated to each datetime.

On my install, the only time the datetime shows sold out is after the attendee has filled the information and finalized the registration. Then the datetime will show as sold out.

Hi, I have multiple event datetimes with 0 limits set.

Each datetime has a specific ticket set with quantity set at 1.

Deleted my event and started from scratch…. same problem ๐Ÿ™

It may be easier for us to take a look at the event.

Hi Jane,

Thank you for the screenshot.

I believe we have found the issue. It is due to the Default Registration Status being set to Approved. (This one – http://take.ms/WGQCT)

If you change that to be ‘Pending Payment’ and update the event, the status for the timeslot will then only change when the registration is complete.

As your events are free, this should have no other effect on the registrations.

We have a ticket to alter this within a future version of Event Espresso so that the ticket selector will still display the times until a successful registration is made regardless of the Default registration status.
