Sending events' url by email from the event's page

I have an email sharing button (Jetpack) on my pages and posts throughout my site. When sending an email from the page of an individual event, it is only the main registration page’s url that is received in the email, not that of the particular event, so the receiver cannot know what particular event he is referred to. How to correct this?

I dont’ know if this is related, but while my site’s permalinks are set to show the page/post names (and everything works fine), for the individual events pages (and only for those pages) they show the “?ee=1, 2 etc.” structure.

I’m using the last versions of WP and EE with a Genesis framework child theme.

Thank you in advance.

Hi BD,

I’m not sure what is causing the first issue you mentioned to happen. We can’t make other plugins play nicely with ours, so I’m not sure how we can make the JetPack plugin included the individual event link.

Event Espresso doesn’t currently support Pretty Permalinks, so the structure you are showing is the way Event Espresso is designed to show links.

Thank you. Is compatibility with Pretty Permalinks planned for future releases?

Hi,

Yes, we are looking to add pretty permalink support into 4.X.
