Sending emails to registrants

My client says “I’ve tried that over the last couple weeks to send out 150 batch emails just in regards to one question we forgot to ask the attendees at the Spring Northern Zone joint conference in April. And I’m able to select everything and select batch, the model template, and it gives me a template to use which I have set up and then that says the that I sent it and it shows like its sent out there but no one receives it for some reason. If you have any information That can help me I appreciate it. Please feel free to try send a batch email to a few of us.”

I sent a batch email as a test on behalf of my client, and it did not give an error, but it did not show up.

Thank you for contacting us today and sorry for the issue you are facing.

Can you please let me know if the batch messages are already sent or queued under Event Espresso > Messages > Message Activity?

Also, can you please try to make a custom registration for an event with your email address and then try to send the batch email to yourself to see that comes through.

Sam,

I set up a new registration also. The cust has tried sending multiple times.
Also, regular system generated emails go out without a problem.

The batches are the only ones failing.
They are “Failed” status, message type is Batch
Search Message Activity:

All (6033) | Sent (5672) | Queued For Generating (0) | Queued For Sending (0) | Queued For Resending (0) | Failed Sending, Can Be Retried (361) | Failed (0)

I updated versions and plugins, and theme, and I can see that the batch sending worked. I haven’t received confirmation from the testees yet but I can see two outbound messages to them.
