Hi, I signed up for the test drive but it didnt include the Ticketing function.

My client wants to allow attendees to select their seat when purchasing theit ticket(s) on-line.

We want the ability to set up many different theatres with different configurations and click your seat just like you do when going to the cinema (in Panama anyway)

Is this possible with eventespresso and where can I see a demo of it in action?

Also we will need the website in Spanish and English – is this possible?

Many thanks,

Mike

Hi Mike,

The test drive does have the ticketing add-on installed, but the ticketing add-on does not have seat assignment features. The ticketing add-on allows for tickets to be sent in the registration emails to later be scanned at the door.

We have a started on a seating chart add-on that is currently in alpha.

Also we will need the website in Spanish and English – is this possible?

At this time it’s possible to run one language at a time in Event Espresso.

Hello Josh,

Thanks for the fast reply.

Is there a link that we can see how to set up the layout of ‘select a seat’. This website will be used for theatre bookings so we will have some large auditoriums to set up.

Single language will do for now:
– Is it possible to have Spanish?
– Are there any plans for multi-language

Regards,

Mike

Hi Mike,

The link to the documentation is here:

https://eventespresso.com/wiki/seating-chart/

In order to read the contents you would need a support license or VIP membership though.

Here’s a temporary link to a PDF version of the same page that you’ll be able to review:

There is a spanish translation that is available to download from our github page:

https://github.com/eventespresso/languages

There was some discussion on adding ML support to Event Espresso, but we currently do not have plans to add it in the upcoming releases.

Hi Josh,

Fantastic – it looks just like what I want.

Is there a demo admin that I can show the client?

Thanks,

Mike
