Hello,
We want to add schema markup on our website for events. We are using event espresso 3 for creating the events. Is there any way to add schema markup on website using espresso 3.
Thanks

Hi there,

We don’t have an option for schema markup within EE3 and I’m not aware of any 3rd party plugins which add this.

We do have Schema markup within EE4, is there something preventing you from switching to EE4?

Hi,
How can we switch to EE4? Do we need to buy again to switch to EE4? We also have EE4 in one of our websites, so we can use, downloding from there too??
Thanks

How can we switch to EE4? Do we need to buy again to switch to EE4?

EE4 is included within your license so its available to download from your account page.

However, note that EE4 is not ‘just a simple update’ from EE3, it’s a completely different system which (I assume based on you using it on another site) works differently. We have a migration script built into EE4 so that when you initially activate it it will pull in all of the EE3 data and migrate it to EE4 for you. We recommend you create a development/staging copy of the site first and run the migration there to confirm it all works as expected before you run it on the live site.

I’ve just reviewed your account and noticed you have the recurring events manager add-on for EE3, at this time EE4 does not fully support recurring events and we do not have a recurring events manager for EE4.

We do have an upcoming release the next version of Event Espresso which will include a recurring events manager, so if you are using recurring events, you may be better off holding out on this switch until that update is released.

Take a look in \event-espresso\includes\functions\main.php

The espresso_get_event($event_id, $single_event_id = null) and event_espresso_get_event_meta($event_id) functions should give you everything you need.

I’m not really sure what you are asking for, the above gives you all of the details for the event using the Event ID so is there something missing from that which you can’t find?
