Scams on event reg.

Hi there,

Is there a way to do a Captia? or somethign to prevent spam? looks somehow we got a spam sign up and they paid too? But got through with out address? Strange

ReCaptcha? Sure, go to:

Event Espresso -> Registration Form -> Reg Form Settings.

Look for ‘reCAPTCHA Anti-spam Settings’

You’ll see a link to sign up for reCaptcha.

I recommend Generating a V2 Invisible reCaptcha key pair (v1 ‘checkbox’ is easily passed and we don’t support v3 keys as of yet)

Which payment method? Some Payments do NOT require AVS checks.
