Sales Tax Display Options

Greetings,

Is there an option to not display the sales tax amount precalculated into the total on the initial cart page?

We, of course, want it to show up on the final checkout and invoices but just not when they start the process. The reasoning is more of a marketing strategy to make the tickets look slightly cheaper upfront. By the time they get to the end and see the sales tax before they pay they are more invested by then.

If there is not an option can you please add a feature request to make it an option. Thank you.

Hi there,

It’s possible to not include taxes on the ticket selector, which is the first step, but not after that step.

If you go to Event Espresso -> Pricing -> Tax Settings

Set ‘Show Prices With Taxes Included?’ to No and save the settings.
