SagePay won't activate new account without test submission – SagePay Add-on Issu

SagePay won’t activate a new account without a test submission – SagePay Add-on doesn’t have any settings for “testing environment”?

Have you run into this before? What was the solution?

Note: We have confirmed the VendorName is correct in SagePay settings.

Hi Michael,

Could you turn on the debug mode on the payment method screen for Sagepay? That will enable “testing mode.”

Ok, thanks for that. I did turn “Debug” mode on, when I try to process a test it says that I have an invalid IP address. I am in the US and this event is in the UK, is that a problem.

The error was 4020 Invalid IP address.

Hi Michael,

The merchant or event organizer will need to be based in the United Kingdom. On the IP issue, you’ll need to whitelist your server’s IP address via the merchant account.
