We are ticketing a rather large, one time event and have a few questions to see if your program will work for us.

Users will be able to purchase a table (10 seats) or a general admission ticket.

1. Is it possible to have a 2 step ticketing process? We need the users to submit a registration form essentially pre-ordering tickets but not yet paying. Once the registration has been approved, they will be sent an e-mail to pay for the tickets and fill out an attendee list with the names of everyone at the table.
Once seating is assigned, tickets would be generated.

We would like to use iPhones for check in.

Can your program accommodate this?

Hi, the pre-approval option for Event Espresso 3 sounds like a good fit for your needs:

https://eventespresso.com/features/admin-pre-approval/#tabEE3Pre-approval

It will let your registrants begin registration but they will not be able to pay to complete their registration until an event admin has approved them.

The business support license for Event Espresso 3 comes with the ticketing add-on which could be used for creating custom tickets.

It will also allow checkin via mobile apps for Android and iOS (ipad, iphone).

Okay, thank you. We still are not quite sure how to manage the table issue. A user will be allowed to buy a table which will hold 10 people. We do not want them charged separately but we need them listed as attendees.
Also, can we integrate with Authorize.net? We’re just about ready to buy if this will work for us.

Hello again, Authorizenet AIM (on-site) and Authorizenet SIM (offsite) is supported.

If this is a group registration, then the primary registrant (first attendee registered) will be billed for all pricing options.
