Reordering Questions in My Email Registration Approved Notification

I have my questions ordered exactly as I want them (in “Event Espresso – Edit Question Group # 1”). So they appear as I want them, when viewed by registrants. But they are not sent to me in that same order in the “Email Registration Approved” notification I receive after someone registers. How can I fix that?

Hi John, the custom order currently applies to the registration form. I’ll create a feature request for this enhancement so it applies to the message shortcodes for questions and answers.

Thank you, Lorenzo. Just to be clear, my question list goes back and forth, from custom question to default question to custom question, etc. (so, not all default questions in a row, followed by custom questions). Here’s an example of the order that I want in the emails I receive: http://www.cpr-twincities.com/register/#checkout. (If that doesn’t show up, please go to http://www.cpr-twincities.com/upcoming/bls/, then click on “Register Now.” ~ John

Hi John, if this enhancement is accepted, then it would be made available in a future version of Event Espresso 4.

To those folks who make enhancement decisions, here’s why it’s important to me. I take what’s emailed to me, copy it and paste it into rosters for each class. But, because the information gets reordered, I need to manually cut-and-paste until it’s back the order I chose in the Question Group. It’s not the worst thing in the world, it’s just time-consuming.

Thanks for considering this “enhancement.”

Hi John,

We have to prioritize so we generally add enhancements that can be used by multiple event organizers across different industries. I can’t comment on whether this will be added but thanks for sharing feedback.
