Rename categories

I created some categories and discovered I need to rename them. Can you help me understand how to rename existing category entries? Thanks!

Hi there,

Assuming you mean categories within Event Espresso, you would just rename the categories in:

Event Espresso -> Events -> Categories.

That will list out your Event Espresso categories.

Clicking on one will allow you to edit the name and unique ID.

Note changing those will mean you need to change the category_slug value you set on any shortcodes using it.
