Removing Date and Time from Promotion

Is it possible to remove the date and time stamp from the discount/promotion line on the checkout page when a discount code is entered?

The checkout table displays:

Online Booking: Sep 24, 2018 9:00 am – Oct 17, 2018 4:30 pm £995.00 1 £995.00
Discount: 10% Off: July 5, 2017 @ 7:00 am – 4:00 pm -10% 1 -£99.50

I need to remove the “: July 5, 2017 @ 7:00am – 4:00pm” part as I’m not sure where this is coming from and it is confusing to customers as it doesn’t match the event date.

There is no div or span around the content so it cannot be hidden by CSS. I would need a function or filter to do this.

Hi,

The date being displayed there is quite likely coming from the “Banner Text / Description” field in the Promotion. If you go to edit the promotion in Event Espresso > Promotions, then scroll down to the “Banner Text / Description” field, is the date entered there? If so you can remove the text from that field, then click the Save button.
