registrations received but no payment showing in paypal anymore

Registrations being received in Event Espresso and show up as paid but funds not received in paypal. I received an e-mail a few days ago from paypal regarding: PayPal is upgrading the certificate for http://www.paypal.com to SHA-256. This endpoint is also used by merchants using the Instant Payment Notification (IPN) product.
All technical jargon to me but wondering if it has something to do with it and they mention I should contact consult with your individuals responsible for your PayPal integration.

Lorenzo – the payment has now come through in paypal after all and so has the e-mail notification that payment was received – normally this always happened as the participants registered but this was over 2 hours after. i supposed i panicked but wondered if it had something to do with this paypal update and then delayed….I wish I had never spent money on buying this support token now….
