Registrations CSV Report – No file download?

Hello, I am using the Registrations CSV Report button, but it is just dumping the CSV in the browser. Is there a way to download the CSV file instead?

Are there any more reporting features in EE?

Hi there,

That usually happens due to incorrect MIME types being set on the server, we already set the MIME type for the file to try and prevent it but your host can override it.

When you click the download does it go to a ‘progress’ page first and then show the CSV in the browser, or does it just open up straight away?

It does go to the loading screen and then dumps to the CSV. I will contact our hosting support and see if they can fix the MIME type issue.

If you ask them to add this mime type to the server:

application/ms-excel .csv

This may also work:

text/csv csv;

That should fix the above.

This is fixed. I contacted our host, and they made the change. Resolved!
