We are using the EE Calendar and have a few questions

For an event we set a registration limit. Where does that number show up so people know how many people have registered?
Is that number automatically updated as people register?
Is it possible to send the registrations to a 3rd party database?
Is it possible for someone to cancel their registration if they cannot attend?

Thanks!
Emily

I should clarify my 1st two questions because I see where the number shows up in the administrator but for web visitor, can they see the number?

Hi Emily,

If you go into the Calendar settings, near the very bottom of the page, there is an option to display attendee limits that can be set to yes. That will display in the tooltip, (so the tooltip option would need to be set on as well.)

There is also an Available Spaces: line in the standard event list view. The number gets updated each time a registration is completed. As far as sending this info to another database, this may be something that could be custom developed which could make use of the Event Espresso API.

With cancellations, there isn’t currently a cancellation feature with the exception of where the WP user integration add-on is installed and the person who registered for an event is already a registered user of the website (eg. they have an account and were logged into the site when they registered for the event).
