Registration & Payment Notifiations aren't coming to my email until weeks later

The registration and payment notifications are not showing up in my email until weeks later. When they do come they are so many of them at one time. I would like to get them when they happen not weeks later so i can know when people register for an event. I actually got some today for two events that have already happened. I have not always had a problem with this, just in the last month or so.

Hi Jamie,

Usually when there’s a delay of hours, days, or even weeks, that’s an indication that the mail server is either being throttled or it’s extremely backed up. You could check with your web host about this, or switch to use a transactional email service to ensure timely delivery of emails.

Alternatively, you could also use a gmail account and configure a plugin like the WP Mail SMTP plugin to send the emails.
