Registration notification query

Hi,

I just wanted to check if there is a way by which registration notification can be sent to different mail IDs for Different events. For example, if Event 1 has been organized by Organizer 1 and Event 2 by Organizer 2. So, in case of a registration for event 1, organizer 1 gets the mail and for event 2 registration, organizer 2 gets the notification.

Also, I checked the by default, notifications do not include the registrant’s all details (name, mail ID, phone no., address etc.) which I would ideally want on the notification itself.

I would appreciate your help on this.

Sure, just edit the registration approved email for the event admin and change the TO field from [EVENT_AUTHOR_FORMATTED_EMAIL] to [EVENT_AUTHOR_EMAIL]

Then save changes.

For the registration approved message, edit the event admin message type and add the following shortcodes to the Attendee List area (below the Event List area):

[PHONE_NUMBER]
[ADDRESS]
[ADDRESS2]
[CITY]
[ADDRESS_STATE]
[ZIP_PC]
[COUNTRY]

Then save changes.

Hey Lorenzo,

As for the first solution, I did change the value as given by you. But I want to understand it better – as in what would it change? Does this mean that now the registration notification will go to the author of the event? If so, is there a way to get a notification to both the author and the admin. Also, since we upload all the events from the admin panel ourselves, there are not going to be the authors. Can you please explain?

Secondly, I did add the address and other info codes as suggested by you and got the following error:

An error has occurred:
The following shortcodes were found in the “[EVENT_LIST]” field that ARE not valid: [PHONE_NUMBER],[ADDRESS],[ADDRESS2],[CITY],[ADDRESS_STATE],[ZIP_PC],[COUNTRY]
Valid shortcodes for this field are: [EVENT_ID], [EVENT_IDENTIFIER], [EVENT], [EVENT_NAME], [EVENT_PHONE], [EVENT_DESCRIPTION], [EVENT_LINK], [EVENT_URL], [VIRTUAL_URL], [VIRTUAL_PHONE], [EVENT_IMAGE], [EVENT_FACEBOOK_URL], [EVENT_TWITTER_URL], [ATTENDEE_LIST], [TICKET_LIST], [DATETIME_LIST], [VENUE_TITLE], [VENUE_URL], [VENUE_IMAGE], [VENUE_PHONE], [VENUE_ADDRESS], [VENUE_ADDRESS2], [VENUE_CITY], [VENUE_STATE], [VENUE_COUNTRY], [VENUE_ZIP], [GOOGLE_MAP_LINK], [GOOGLE_MAP_IMAGE], [COMPANY], [CO_ADD1], [CO_ADD2], [CO_CITY], [CO_STATE], [CO_ZIP], [CO_LOGO], [CO_EMAIL], [CO_PHONE], [CO_LOGO_URL], [CO_FACEBOOK_URL], [CO_TWITTER_URL], [CO_PINTEREST_URL], [CO_GOOGLE_URL], [CO_LINKEDIN_URL], [CO_INSTAGRAM_URL], [EVENT_AUTHOR_FNAME], [EVENT_AUTHOR_LNAME], [EVENT_AUTHOR_FORMATTED_EMAIL], [EVENT_AUTHOR_EMAIL], [PRIMARY_REGISTRANT_FNAME], [PRIMARY_REGISTRANT_LNAME], [PRIMARY_REGISTRANT_EMAIL], [PRIMARY_REGISTRANT_REGISTRATION_CODE], [PRIMARY_REGISTRANT_PHONE_NUMBER], [PRIMARY_REGISTRANT_ADDRESS], [PRIMARY_REGISTRANT_ADDRESS2], [PRIMARY_REGISTRANT_CITY], [PRIMARY_REGISTRANT_ZIP_PC], [PRIMARY_REGISTRANT_ADDRESS_STATE], [PRIMARY_REGISTRANT_COUNTRY], [PRIMARY_REGISTRANT_TICKET_LIST], [PRIMARY_REGISTRANT_DATETIME_LIST], [PRIMARY_REGISTRANT_QUESTION_LIST]

Hi,

It needs to be added to the Attendee List textarea which is below the Event List area. It looks like you tried to add it to the event list area.

Thanks Lorenzo, this worked fine.

Can you also address my earlier query –

“As for the first solution, I did change the value as given by you. But I want to understand it better – as in what would it change? It should assign to the user that is uploading the content. Also, you can send the notifications to multiple recipients by separating the shortcodes and emails with a comma:

example@business1.com, advisor@business2.com

So in the TO field, we can also add emails, along with [SHORTCODES]?

Yes, here is an example:

example@business1.com, advisor@business2.com, [SITE_ADMIN_EMAIL]
