I have a huge problem that is going on, I have had 2 people sign up for an event and their information doesn’t send over, so I have no way of contacting or knowing who paid for the event, until I look it up in my merchant services, which doesn’t give me all of the information that we require. Any idea what is going on? I have ALL questions required and it’s worked fine up until yesterday, I have had 2 events show up like this.

Hi Randall,

This looks like the breakage is being caused by the caching plugin that’s installed hasn’t been configured to exclude the Event Espresso pages. If you view the source of the page where people register, you’ll see this at the bottom:

Dynamic page generated in 0.956 seconds.
Cached page generated by WP-Super-Cache on 2014-08-12 09:53:05

Event Espresso pages need to be served dynamically, not from the cache.

You can fix this by going to WP Super Cache’s Advanced Settings and add Event Espresso’s critical page strings to the text box under “Add here strings (not a filename) that forces a page not to be cached.”

What is the exact wording that goes here? I found where I need to put it, I just want to make sure I put the right text here. Thanks for your help.

It depends on what your site has set up for permalinks and what you have set for your registration pages. If you go to Event Espresso > General Settings > Critical pages you’ll see all four critical pages listed. If you view these pages, you can get the string for each page.

For example, if the registration checkout page is set to yoursite.com/registration-checkout, you add the string registration-checkout to the do not cache rules.
