registration date changed to be open, but event status still says closed

I just changed the registration date on an event so that it is open, but the status still says it’s closed. I’ve never had this problem before and just a few minutes before opening these events, I was able to make a few events in-active and it worked fine. Help please!

NEVER MIND…figured it out. The closed registration date was right with the exception of the year being 2013 which is why they remained closed.
