We having issues with the registration and tickets emails. |

Hi, We’ve received your request for priority support. In the support request you mentioned that some of the emails are going out, some of the time. You also mentioned that you were not sure if customers are receiving the first email notice. For those reasons, I’ve installed a plugin to log outgoing emails. This plugin will help us find out which emails are being sent. One thing you can check is your email provider’s spam queue. What could be happening is the site is generating the email and handing it off to the server’s email server. From there, the email might get flagged by SpamAssassin where the mail server will fail to send. If the email makes it past that point, the email provider at the other end may by flagging as spam. |

Update: I checked the log of emails and it’s showing all emails have been sent. Which basically means everything went as expected where EE handed off the email to the wp_mail() function, and all was well when the wp_mail() function handed off the email to the mail server. From that point forward the emails could have been flagged as spam. You could contact your hosting provider (in this case GoDaddy) and ask them if they can check at which point the emails are flagged as spam, and how that can be avoided. If they’re not able to help, then another option would be to switch to use a transactional email service. A transactional email service will include a WordPress plugin that will route the emails through their service, and their mail servers are configured to ensure delivery. They’ve put together a guide that lists some excellent transactional email services that you can choose from: |

If you go to your site’s WP dashboard, then go to WP Mail Log (it’s an item on the side menu now), you’ll see a log of all emails sent. If you’re not getting some of those emails, and they’re not in your spam folder, then there’s either: If a, then you contact your email forwarding provider. If b, then you contact your web hosting provider. Alternatively you could get set up with a transactional email service as advised in my previous reply. |

You can verify with GoDaddy support about that, as I have no knowledge of what a proper MX record would be when using GoDaddy hosting and yahoo email. |

Hi there, If Event Espresso shows the emails as sent it means everything triggered/sent correctly by Event Espresso and the email was passed onto I’d recommend contacting GoDaddy and ask them if they can see the emails being dropped on their end. The other option is to use a transactional email service to send your email: https://eventespresso.com/wiki/postmark-app-mandrill-transactional-email-handling-services/ That basically takes the emails away from your server and uses the server for whichever provider you choose to send the email. |
