"Register Now" button resets the quantity

Hi – I have a problem where the user selects the quantity of a ticket and then clicks on the “Register Now” button, the website resets the quantity back to zero and remains on the same page. People can’t register on my site now. Please help. Thanks.

Hi Ray,

Your /events/ slug has been changed to /sessions/ can you confirm how this was done?

Are you running any caching on the site or server?

If you go to Event Espresso -> General Settings -> Critical Pages.

You’ll find a list of EE4’s critical pages which should contain specific shortcodes. Can you confirm the Page Status and Shortcode’s state ‘OK’ are are green?

1) yes, the slug was changed via Quick Localisation, per the forum recommendations.
2) yes, statuses are all “OK”

I did find out the problem exists only on the pages I updated today. Then I found out that the problem goes away if I delete all the descriptions. Any ideas?

We are investigating this but need to narrow it down a little, hence all the questions sorry 🙂

Hi – np. I hope I can help.

I double checked and it looks like I did both. I changed the name from events to sessions per the wiki page. I also changed other slugs via Quick Localisation.

Have you refreshed the Permalinks?

Go to Settings -> Permalinks, make no changes and just hit Save.
