Recurring Events "Not_Open" error, How to batch Fix

All of my recurring events have a future registration date so they don’t show on the event calendar and people are unable to register. I managed to fix one individually but when I clicked both buttons to apply to all future events and the button to apply to all events it did not work and all events remained “Not_Open” please help!
