Hi there,

I am trialling the Events Espresso beta (Version 4.11.0.beta.001) and Recurring events beta (Version 1.0.0.beta.000). I would just like to say how much I love the new version but would like to discuss a few things.

My test website – http://test.onetribehealing.com.au/events/

Bugs
– a couple of the events won’t attach tickets to them. So Edit ticket > press Set ticket prices > Add default prices — nothing happens. I think it was working at one stage but as I played with it the 1st 2 tickets have no tickets ano no price against them when displayed. The other dozen dates work fine with atickets attached.

– Event List Pages – Use Custom Display Order (No)- Display Order – doesn’t work. It was working, but isn’t now. > Reset Event List Settings – doesn’t work either

– and a few other things don’t work in this section too.

Feature Requests
– I would like to have it so that we can get rid of Date & Time Filter, and keep the amount of recurring dates and not have them all appear – so if I choose 6 dates t only shows 6 dates and no Date & Time Filter.

Regards,
Mark

Hi there,

Thanks for sharing your findings. I’ve relayed your message to our developers for inspection.

I have played with a few things and have got it back up and running with the correct events. It still has some issues but is working for now. I am sure you are finding these bugs so feel free to close/ delete this support request.

Other issues was that it was showing expired events even though I set it to not do that. I have deleted that event now anyway but I am sure it is still there. The Displany Order doesn’t really work. The other options mostly work

Thanks Mark

Sorry – it is still happening. So the event (as part of the recurring events) has a $30 ticket and the ticket has no Default Price in there and I can’t add a default price.

Can someone get back to me as it has been a week or if someone is not going to respond to this in the next day or so I can at least set my events up as stand-alone events until this is completed.

Mark

Hi Mark,

The beta versions aren’t intended to be used on a live site, which it sounds like is what you’re planning on using it for based on the above?

If so, I’d advise using the stable/release version for the time being.

For the default prices issues, if you open up Chrome dev tools when testing this, do you see any errors in the console section?

Can you add a screenshot of how that section is displaying?

Ok that’s fine – I won’t use the recurring events until it is released – looking good though and hsould do exactly what we need. Back-end interface looks nice too
