I have searched – tried many suggections from the forums. Recaptcha causes my registration to Error.
I only get this error:
An error has occurred:
A valid transaction could not be initiated for processing your registrations.
EE_SPCO_Reg_Step_Attendee_Information – process_reg_step – 591
There is no spam test – just the “I am not a robot” checkbox.

Hi Shannon, the I am not a robot checkbox is the newer version of ReCaptcha. You’ll sometimes see the older version where you type something in if ReCaptcha flags you as a possible bot.
Could you let us know who your hosting provider is and could you share a link to an event?

I check the box and I get the error. It doesn’t seem to matter what I do. I noticed that activating the recaptcha did not activate the inclusion of the js code that is required, according to the Google documentation. So, I added that. I can take it out.

Hi Tai,
Can you let us know what the JS code was that you added? There should not be any need to add any JS code to make the reCaptcha form work. Have you tried the ReCaptcha form without the added JS code?
