Questions for User Registration (conditional statements)

We are setting up Event Espresso for a client. This client has a registration form that has a conditional statement that reads something like the following:
Special #
-or-
Birthday
Last Five of SSN

I noticed that in the setup area for custom questions, there is no date picker (for birthday) and there is no option for conditional statements.

I’ve read on the forum that there is no option for conditional statements and that there is a bug with Gravity Forms and EE.

I’ve tried the conditional plugin (not created by EE) but it didn’t work. Once in the area to manage conditional questions, I click edit and it just reloads the page (manage conditional questions). I saw the entry for the long work around where someone adds 3 different plugins to get it to work.

Do you have any suggestions for a conditional like the one listed above?

Hi Tony,

We don’t currently have support for conditional logic in questions. Nor can we support the add-on that was not created by our developers. This is something we want to implement in the future, but do not have a solution at this time.

Thanks Jonathan.

We are thinking of using jQuery to manipulate some of the fields. Do you have any suggestions or comments about that?

Hi Tony,

jQuery or Javascript would work pretty well to create a faux conditional system.
