1) my client wants a question to accept the terms of the registration like an e-signature… I don’t think it has to be an actual e-signature, just a check box that says “I accept”. But my question is where do I put the content for the terms? there must be a better way to show this text rather than as a question. (see screen shot)

Hi there,
Usually for this we recommend creating either a PDF or another terms and conditions page which can then link to within the question text, so then it looks something like this:
Click here to accept our terms and conditions.
Where you link to and the content within it is separate from the EE question then and easily updated should it need to be.

Are you using Multi Event Registration? I’m assuming not which means the simplest option is to set target="_blank" on the link to open in new window:

If you want to make it as a popup then you can try any third-party plugin like https://wordpress.org/plugins/popup-anything-on-click/ to see if that helps.

I like the popup idea. I’ve installed popup anything on click and created a popup and it’s given me a shortcode. [popup_anything id=”6561″]
Where can I put the shortcode in the form?
