Hi,
I purchased EE4. Our website is backed-up. The pluggin has been installed. so now how do I ‘activate’ it?
Seems there are two ‘keys’ which one do we use?
Thanks so much,
Sally

Hi Andrew,

How are you today?

You can activate the Event Espresso plugin as any other good plugin. You will want to enter the premium license key (non “_FREE”) to the License Key field in the Event Espresso 4 General Settings.

Does that help?

Hi Garth,
Thank you!
Yes I was able to add that ‘key’. So will this new site be more user friendly like our other older website that has EE3?
Can I set up events the same way as EE3?
Thanks,
Sally

Hi Sally,

Event Espresso 4 is a different platform than Event Espresso 3. There are some similarities such as some menu screens but there are some differences.

The event listing page is virtual and is now:

example.com/events/

This would be an example of a single event page:

example.com/events/my-new-event/

We have a getting started guide here:
