Hi, we’re having a new issue with promo codes – the promo code box is no longer showing on the registration for courses that I know I have applied the promo to. When I look at the promotions, it won’t show me which ones have been applied – I have checked ‘display only selected events’ and the little spinning wheel just keeps spinning and never loads them. The same thing happens when I try to create a new promo and go to the next page of events.

Shouldn’t have to pay if this is a known issue across the board.

Hi there,

This is a bug from some additional sanitization/routing/validation we added in version 4.10.14.p which didn’t cause an issue on our test servers, we can now reproduce but will take a little to find, fix and test a fix for this.

As it stands the fastest way to fix this is to downgrade to version 4.10.13.p which I’ll include a link for in my next reply.

Just to clarify, no-one is asking for anyone to pay to fix this issue but we have no control over what users purchase/redeem a support token for. The solution I worked on with the other user was to downgrade their site back to 4.10.13.p so they could update the promotion code in the same way as above.

Hi there,

We’ve just pushed v4.10.19.p live which includes a fix for this.

If you don’t see the update yet, go to Event Espresso -> General Setting and just hit save to force a version check.

The update should then show up in Dashboard -> Plugins.
