Promotions Pre-Release Install issue

Hello,

I am running EE 4.7.1 Core and when I try to install the promotions pre-release I get the following error:

The Event Espresso “Promotions” addon could not be activated because it is incompatible with your version of Event Espresso Core.
This can happen when attempting to run beta versions or release candidates with older versions of core.
Please upgrade Event Espresso Core first and then re-attempt activating “Promotions”.

Hi Scott,

It turns out that the Promotions add-on requires Event Espresso 4.8 beta. It will not run on Event Espresso 4.7. You can download Event Espresso 4.8 from the pre-release channel.
