We use EE to register our sponsors for our Non-profit as well as registering teams(participants) for each of our fundraisers. Depending on the level donated by a sponsor they get a certain number of free teams that can be used at any of the events.
For example a gold sponsor is given 4 free teams and we have 5 different events scheduled for 2016. The sponsor may use all 4 teams at one event, only 1 team per event, or some other combination.
When I create a unique discount code for the sponsor and then enter the number of allowed uses plus the events it applies to the program seems to multiply these two together to generate the # of allowed uses. In the example above it says the discount code can be used 20 times instead of 4.
Is there a way to fix this? Otherwise the discount code is not really effective for us to track teams used / prevent free teams from being registered on our site.

With the conditions of the promotion, it would allow one use per event. We have an open feature request to allow a condition where a limit would apply as soon as that amount of uses is reached regardless of if the promotion is available for all events.
