Promotion use counter doubles what was entered as limit

Hi Guys,

Lately when I add a promotion, if I specify a limit of 5 uses, the use counter will show 0/10, always being the double of what I put as a limit.

Any idea how to fix it?

Hi Matthew,

How may events are you assigning the promo code to? I’m guessing 2?

The number of uses is per scope item, ie, Per Event. Assigning a promo code with 10 uses to 2 events = 20 uses, 3 events = 30 uses and so on.

Humm, it does say the promotion is for 2 events but the section that says “Check off the specific events that this promotion will be applied to.” has only one event selected.

If you click on the box that says “Display only selected Events” does an additional event name display?

No, still only one event shows up.

Hi Matthew,

Can you click on the Advanced Filters icon , then clear out the date fields (you leave them blank) and check the box that says: Include expired events? If there’s an expired event that’s also assigned to the promotion, it will show up in the list after you change the advanced filter settings.
