Promoter access level only for his events

I have currently running EE4, and our site is getting a bit popular in other cities. Now we want to assign or have certain access to Event Promoters only for their events. Is this possible to do in Event Espresso ?

Hi there,

It is possible, you can set up roles on your site with specific capabilities that only allow them access to events they are set as the author on and then set the users you want to have access to that role.

There’s an example (and a plugin) you can use to do this in this thread:

So install and active the plugin mentioned (you can then deactivate and delete it as it adds the roles to the database).

Set your users to be an ‘Event Organizer’.

Set the the user to be the Event Author on the events you want them to have access to.

Log into that user account and confirm you only have access to the event(s) in question.
