I’ve searched several threads about a missing promocode label but I am unclear if EE placed on there by design. I’ve been able to make it work on one website but I have another one using the Avada theme and I’m unable to make that one work.
So, is there one designed to be there organically?
While I don’t understand the thinking behind not labeling that field (I have several people miss the field and complain), I would really like to have a way of making it work on my website using the Avada theme. http://www.safeworship.net.

Hi there,

Yes there is a label and the Submit button should display ‘Submit Promotion Code’ however we’ve found some hide both or cause the Promo config to not load the label correctly.
Can you go to Event Espresso -> Promotions -> Settings.
Make no changes and just save the settings.
Then run through a registration and see if the label/submit text appears please.

Thanks for the quick reply. That process gave me the proper button but the label didn’t appear. I do have some custom css loaded from previous attempts to fix this problem and it’s loaded in Avada options.

Try adding something like this:
#ee-promotion-code-input-lbl {
margin-top: -30px;
}
It should show the promo code label on the checkout page then.
