Promo code exclusion from ticket

Hello, I found this on the forum https://eventespresso.com/topic/limit-promotion-code-to-specific-ticket-class-type/

I think this will be able to exclude my promo code from my group ticket. We only want to offer a promotion for the single to two people ticket.

Where do I put this code?

You can put that on your child theme function.php or better, create a plugin.
