Hi there,

Have you set the promotion code to apply to specific events or has it been set to be global by setting ‘Apply Promo to ALL Scope Items’ to Yes?

Can you post a screenshot of the promotion settings so I can view your setup?

This must be like walking through a doorway to remember something. RE looking at settings it occurred to me that the effective start date was not to be a datetime but actually a ticket sale time! in one sense intuitive… on the other hand…not. changed the start date from the first event datetime to well, today and viola, it shows up. Thanks for triggering…

Sorry but I don’t follow, if you are referring to the promotion valid from date that is not linked to the ticket date, it relates to the current datetimes, as in now().

Either way, I’m glad you found the cause.

correct; the valid date from and to. when I first entered the dates i chose datetimes – so valid in the future. my tickets are on sale now and it wasn’t showing. it didn’t occur to me that it would need to be valid, well, now. Thought it was for the tickets.
Thanks

Oh yeah, I understand now.

Promotions themselves have their own valid to/from DateTime and it makes a little more sense when you are using global promotions.

‘This promotions is for $10 off any event and is valid from September 10th through to September 19th’

Anyway, I’m glad you got it fixed 🙂
