Product key and Installation on a subdomain

Hi, I’ll be installing the plugin on a subdomain. Does this mean when I enter he product key and activate it, EE will only work on the subdomain, but not on the main domain.

For example,
Domain: http://www.mydomain.com
Sub-domain: http://events.mydomain.com
EE installed at events.mydomain.com. if installed at mydomain.com, will it work?

Hi there,

The license key is for a single site so you can’t have the same key on more than one site but will work without a key.

EE installed at events.mydomain.com. if installed at mydomain.com, will it work?

It will work fine but on one of the sites you don’t add the key and will need to update manually.
