Problem with sending mails after changing status of registration

The last couple of weeks I had some clients contacting me that said that they didn’t received any confirmation e-mail of their registration. I thought it was a client side problem (for example mails in spam e), but since the last days I had 3 clients that contacted me in a short period After checking the message history I saw that indeed NO e-mails were sent, but I was 100 % sure that I clicked on yes to send the associated messages. I have further investigated this issue and found the problem.

If a registration has the status “waitlist” and I change it to “waiting for payment” and I do choose Yes to sent the associated messages, apparently the messages are not generated.

If I click again on Yes to sent the associated messages, then the messages are generated without any problems.

I don’t know if it is related to the latest version of Event Espresso, but in the past I never had this issue in the past.

I did try to recreate the issue, but everything is fine on my end. Can you tell me about your PHP version too. Also, can you tell me if the test you did was really from waitlist or it was from approved and you just move it to waitlist as example?

Does the problem happen on one event or in all events? Does it happen in particular status(pending payment) or in any status?
