Problem with First Data E4 pulling in payment details on thank you page

I am using EE4 and trying to set up a First Data E4 account for our client. I am bale to process payments no problem and currently getting the Security browser warning but will be fixing that once we install an SSL certificate. But the problem is happening when the user returns from the First Data site to our site. The Thank You page is not showing any details and we have the [espresso_payments] short code on the page. I’ve searched for documentation and don’t know what else to do.

On the First Data site there are various options for me to choose from for the return receipt using GET and AUTO-GET and others but this is unfamiliar to me.

Thanks

Hi Jamie,

Are you using the Mijireh gateway or another payment gateway to process payments through First Data E4?

Not sure what you mean. In the EE4 plug-in I’m entering the information into the First Data E4 settings box. For the First Data side, I’m using Payeezy.

Hi Jamie,

It turns out the EE4 plugin does not have a First Data E4 settings box. Are you actually using Event Espresso 3?

In Event Espresso 3, you’ll need to make sure that the “Thank You” page set in Event Espresso > General Settings > Page settings matches the page that has the [ESPRESSO_PAYMENTS] settings.

Ok thats strange. I thought our developers installed EE4. If I upgrade to that will it import all of the settings and events that I currently have on the site?

Also with EE4 is it possible to use the API from First Data so that we can take on-site payments?

EE4 will import settings and events from EE3.

With on site payments, the Mijireh gateway works with the First Data API. It’s technically off-site, but it does a good job of making it look like they’ve never left your site.
